Inspired by the ceremonial display of Raksha masks at Sri Lanka's southern coastal festivals  where a single large mask is mounted as the centrepiece of protective power, surrounded by smaller guardian masks in procession. This canvas recreates that sacred arrangement for the modern home.

Raksha masks are one of Sri Lanka's most beloved folk art symbols, traditionally hand-carved from kaduru wood in the coastal village of Ambalangoda.
